What is Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. It provides funding and support for organisations to operate projects consistent with its objectives and which encourage European exchange, cooperation and learning.

The SCFE Erasmus+ Experience

The SCFE Erasmus project provides Students with an exciting opportunity work, live and learn in another country. By working and living in another European county students experience new and innovative ways of working, learn about other cultures and languages and build a sense of European citizenship. The Erasmus+ experience helps students to improve their vocational, personal and social skills and competencies that will give SCFE students an advantage in a competitive job market while becoming active citizens at a local and global level.

Erasmus placements are for two or three weeks. All travel costs and accommodation costs are covered and students also receive a grant for their living expenses while abroad.
