Educational Progression

Most graduates of this Level 5 course progress onto the Level 6 Advanced Fashion Design Course in Sallynoggin College of Further Education. Our QQI award is used by many of our graduates as an alternative to the Leaving Certificate route into third level.

Entry Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent, LCA or relevant experience
  • Interview – Applicants should bring samples of their work-to-date in order to demonstrate their interest in fashion or costume design. Suggested work includes drawing and artwork, design sketches, scrapbooks, garments made or customised and artefacts
  • Mature applicants welcome
  • Applicants may be accepted without meeting formal entry requirements
