At Sallynoggin College of Further Education, near Dun Laoghaire in Dublin, we offer a Performing Arts/Acting and Performance for Theatre, TV & Film course, which provides a rigorous and challenging programme of study, introducing learners to the various disciplines involved in working on stage, in film and on television. Although the primary focus is on acting, the course provides an opportunity for learners to participate actively in all elements of creating and producing drama. There is an emphasis on the essential knowledge, skills and understanding of the craft of the performer.
A Diploma of Associate (Acting Performance) accredited by the Irish Board of Speech and Drama will be awarded to all students who successfully pass the QQI acting modules on the course. Upon completion the learner may progress to study for the Diploma in Licentiate (Teaching Diploma)
