“SCFE really prepared me, both mentally and physically for the realities of a career in dance. I have since performed and choreographed with Dance Theatre of Ireland across Europe and in China.”
“Prior to attending Sallynoggin I was a young and eager dancer with great expectations but was not yet formed. Sallynoggin provided a warm and friendly environment from which to flourish. A combination of a strong core group of teachers and ample opportunity to links within the wider professional dance industry set the tone from which the rest of my career prospered. Like the Peter Townsend quote states ‘Dance enables you to find yourself and lose yourself at the same time’. Sallynoggin College allowed me to find myself and I have been getting lost in the wonders and awes of dance ever since.”
Karla Holden Professional Dancer, Choreographer and Lecturer in DCU.
