PHOTOGRAPHY

Give your career maximum exposure by completing this one year course in Photography. Ideally, applicants should be familiar with photographic processing and printing. During this course students will develop the necessary skills to prepare a quality portfolio for entry to third level colleges or for direct employment.

Facilities
The facilities consist of a spacious photographic studio, well equipped with studio lighting, black and white darkroom equipped with 14 enlargers, and separate film processing room. Also includes a digital darkroom with flat bed scanner, Nikon Cool Scan and Digital Projection facilities.

Career and Employment Opportunities
Direct employment into the processing and photographic industry. Progression to further study at third level.

Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate level or equivalent.

Interview - applicants should bring a selection of their best work to include recent photos in both black and white and colour if available. Applicants may be accepted without the formal academic qualifications.
